What’s the Right Thing to Do?

31 Jan

Have you ever stopped to think of what’s the right thing to do? Are you interested in philosophical approach to social justice in a big picture? Are you tired of doing cost-benefit analysis of all policies? Do you think free trade logic is not always correct? Do you think under-representative groups need more than equal opportunities?

If you say yes to some of these questions, you will find Michael Sandel’s lectures interesting and fun. His first two lectures are about problems of Utilitarianism. And then he discusses Libertarianism, Social Contract, John Rawls’s egalitarian theory, the Same-Sex Marriage, etc.
